Bertram Brossardt

Bertram Brossardt (born February 19, 1960 in Neustadt an der Weinstrasse ) is the managing director of the associations vbw - Vereinigung der Bayerischen Wirtschaft e. V. , vbm - Association of the Bavarian Metal and Electrical Industry e. V. , as well as bayme - Bayerischer Unternehmensverband Metall und Elektro e. V.

Vita

After graduating from the Kurfürst-Ruprecht-Gymnasium Neustadt in 1978 , Brossardt did his basic military service in Budel (Netherlands) and in Cochem on the Moselle. From 1979 to 1985 he studied law at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich (LMU) and then completed his internship. In 1988 he passed the second state examination in law.

Brossardt began his professional career in 1988 as a consultant for research funding and cooperation between business and science at the Bavarian Ministry of Science. In 1992 he became the office manager of the then State Secretary in the Bavarian Ministry of Science, Otto Wiesheu, and from 1993 also headed his office when he became Bavarian State Minister for Economic Affairs, Transport and Technology.

From 1998 to 2002, Brossardt held the post of settlement officer in the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs and was then head of the foreign trade and location marketing department from 2002 to 2005.

He is married and has two children.

Offices

Brossardt has been the general manager of the associations since January 2005

Brossardt is also Vice President of the vbw - Vereinigung der Bayerischen Wirtschaft e. V. (since 2007), member of the administrative board of the Federal Employment Agency , member of the executive committee of the economic advisory board of the Union e. V. and honorary judge at the Federal Labor Court.
