deals

The Oberhausen Vocational Promotion Agency offers around 900 training positions in 30 occupational fields in commercial, industrial-technical, social, health and IT professions. The training period at the BFW is shortened to two years in the majority of professions. At the end of the vast majority of training courses, there is a final examination before the Chamber of Industry and Commerce or the relevant body at chamber level.

In addition to the recognized training occupations , shorter (a few weeks up to 18 months) qualifications can be completed in which the participants e.g. B. acquire an IHK or a BFW certificate. During their training, the participants are looked after by doctors, social pedagogues and psychologists - the so-called accompanying services.

In cooperation with the Ministry of the Interior of North Rhine-Westphalia and the Düren Vocational Promotion Agency , the BFW Oberhausen has been offering a qualification measure since 1997 in which people with disabilities are trained to become administrative employees for the state service within eight months.

With in-company rehabilitation, the BFW offers a measure that enables people to retrain directly in the company. The BFW takes on the placement of rehabilitation candidates and operations as well as personal qualification support as well as advisory, coordination and documentation tasks.

As part of the job search, the BFW Oberhausen offers various measures for people who lack a concrete idea of the career path. This includes workload testing (ABE), a measure of medical-vocational rehabilitation that pursues the goal of finding out together with the rehabilitants which activities are still possible, what the performance looks like and which steps are necessary in order to gain a foothold in a professional environment .
