Kim Dag-yeom (born December 8, 1997 in Daejeon ) is a South Korean short tracker .

Career

Kim made his first international appearance at the 2015 Junior World Championships in Osaka . There he won the gold medal in the all-around competition and with the relay. He ran his first World Cup races in Salt Lake City at the beginning of the 2019/20 season . There he finished 24th over 500m, 19th over 1000m and third place in the mixed relay. In the further course of the season he came third in Shanghai with the relay and in Dresden over 1500 m and won his first World Cup victory in Dordrecht over 1000 m and finally achieved 12th place in the World Cup over 1000 m. At the Four Continents Championships in Montreal in 2020 , he won the bronze medal over 500 m and the gold medal with the relay.
