The Riesstrasse vocational school center is a school center in the state capital of Munich at Riesstrasse 30-44 in Munich-Moosach , which was completed in 2006.
description
The school center consists of five municipal vocational schools in five buildings: The vocational school for taxes , information technology , office management and industrial clerks , as well as for retail and media design . These are connected by glass corridors. It started operating on September 10, 2007.
The school center is attended by 2,600 students. There is a large auditorium and a cafeteria in a free-standing building as well as a competitive sports hall with grandstand for shared use. These facilities are also available to the public. The entire school center is partially barrier-free.
The school center is located at the Olympia-Pressestadt and is connected to local public transport via the U1 Georg-Brauchle-Ring and the U3 Olympia shopping center .

The planning of the approximately 3.2 hectare area was carried out by the Munich architects Bauer Kurz Stockburger . With construction costs of around 101 million euros, it is the largest measure in the school sector that the city of Munich has ever initiated.
