Berzelius is an impact crater on the northeastern front of the moon , southeast of the Cepheus crater and northwest of the large Geminus crater . The walls are relatively badly eroded. The crater floor is largely flat.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the Swedish physician and chemist Jöns Jacob Berzelius .
