Special learning achievement

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

For some years now, most of the German federal states have given the opportunity to include a special learning achievement (in short: BLL, BeLL or BELL) in the Abitur . This particular learning achievement can consist of

Annual work

In the case of annual work, the student should familiarize himself with a subject independently and work on a question according to scientific requirements (as far as this is possible in the school). Usually the student is supervised by one or two subject teachers; However, since the independent processing is an important aspect of the assessment, the scope of supervision is often less than in other school projects. At the end of the annual work, the content must be presented in a colloquium and / or (depending on the federal state) a seminar lecture. The colloquium and the lecture are then rated equally as compared to the written evaluation.

In some federal states, the preparation of a specialist thesis is mandatory, but not in all federal states it is required for the Abitur. The specialist work must be distinguished from the BeLL, as it is only about half the scope. To offset the evaluation of the annual work and specialist work with the other Abitur achievements, see Abitur .

In the Free State of Saxony , 20 percent of the work is included in the examination results if it is included in the overall qualification.

In Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate , a special learning achievement can be chosen as the fifth examination subject of the Abitur examination instead of a further oral examination or a presentation examination and thus makes up one fifth of the Abitur area of the overall qualification.
