The residential building Bessunger Straße 78 is a listed building in the Bessungen district of the southern Hessian city of Darmstadt .
Architecture and history
The two-story half - timbered house was built in the 18th century. The gable-facing house has a half-hip roof with beaver tail covering . The house has lattice windows on the upper floor . The facade of the otherwise largely intact house was subsequently disturbed by modern windows and plastering .
Monument protection
The half-timbered house is part of the rest of the village development on Bessunger Straße in the old town center of Bessungen. For architectural and city-historical reasons, the half-timbered house has the status of a monument according to the Hessian Monument Protection Act .
