Cutlery of a staircase

The cutlery is a term from the stair construction , which is used for mortised and inserted wooden stairs. It indicates to what extent the stair stringer on the stair extends.

  • a is the upper vertical cutlery
  • b is the upper right-angled cutlery
  • c is the lower vertical cutlery
  • d is the lower angled cutlery
