Bethanie Nail
Bethanie Anne "Beth" Kearney , b. Nail , (born March 24, 1956 ) is a former Australian sprinter who specialized in the 400-meter run .
At the British Commonwealth Games in Christchurch in 1974, she was eighth.
In 1976, she retired from the Olympic Games in Montreal over 400 m in the semifinals despite a national record of 51.44 s in the semifinals. In the 4 x 400 meter relay , she came fourth.
At the Athletics World Cup in 1977 in Düsseldorf, she came in fourth place with the oceanic team in the 4 x 400 meter relay . In 1978 she won bronze over 400 meters and silver in the 4-by-400-meter relay at the Commonwealth Games in Edmonton .
In 1976 she became the Australian champion.
