The Lierenfeld depot of the Rheinbahn , Düsseldorf's municipal transport company , is located on the former premises of the Mannesmannröhren-Werke in the Lierenfeld district of Düsseldorf ( North Rhine-Westphalia ). It is used for both buses and rail vehicles and is the largest bus and train depot in Germany.

The facility at Lierenfelder Straße 40 was opened on November 29, 1991 and replaced the depots in Derendorf and (from 1992) Wersten . The depot has two storage halls, twenty tracks and five workshop tracks as well as a paint shop, washing plant and a sand plant.

In the company building there is a canteen, a clothes closet and several offices. The new administration center of the Rheinbahn is to be built at the depot by the end of 2016.
