Business organization
The term company organization is used in different contexts and has a correspondingly multiple meaning. Business organization is understood to mean:
- "The regulatory framework for optimizing a holistic, at the same time economical and humane business activity",
- the structure and organization of a company - this makes it a sub-area of business organization theory (see also: Organization (economy) ),
- the specifications for the organization of processes ( process organization ) and hierarchies of the responsibilities of a company and its operating facilities ( organizational structure ) or
- a department for production planning - and control .
Business organization is also used simply as a synonym for organization . The term can be found in the title of numerous relevant textbooks. It is used in the designation for university chairs or subject areas as well as software systems. It serves to characterize a consulting field for business consultants. The REFA Association for Work Design, Company Organization and Corporate Development e. V. carries him in his name.
The organization of operational processes, however, is usually explicitly referred to as process organization . The inflationary use of the word is offset by a lack of explicit definitions.
