Adam Kwak (born March 30, 1986 in Zakopane ) is a Polish biathlete .

The sports soldier Adam Kwak lives and trains in Ciche and Czerwienne . He starts for BKS UP Koscielisko and is trained by Jan Ziemianin . The multiple Polish junior champion has been practicing biathlon since 2001 and has been a member of the Polish national team since 2003. Since then he has also competed in international youth and junior races. The first Junior World Championship was Kwak 2003 in Kościelisko , where he was able to advance to eleventh place in the pursuit after a 39th place in the sprint. A year later, a 16th place in the junior title competition in Haute-Maurienne was the best result. In 2005 he finished 18th in the Kontiolahti Sprint and Pursuit . At the Junior European Championships of the year in Novosibirsk , Kwak was 19th in the individual, 14th in the sprint, eleventh in the pursuit and fifth in the Polish relay. A year later, however, he could never place in the top 40 at the Junior European Championships. The Junior World Championships 2006 in Presque Isle went a little better with 17th place in the individual as the best result. Kwak's last major junior events were the 2007 European Championships in Bansko and the World Championships in Martell . Both times he achieved good results again. In Bulgaria, the young Pole finished fifth in the sprint, seventh in the pursuit and with the relay and 12th in the individual. In Italy he finished 17th in the sprint and 19th in the pursuit and individual.

Kwak contested the first international race in the senior sector in 2006, including the military world championship. Since 2007 he has competed in the Biathlon European Cup and also in the Biathlon World Cup . In the World Cup he made his debut as 94th of an individual in Kontiolahti . Culmination of the first senior season was to participate in the Biathlon World Championships 2008 of Östersund . In Sweden Kwak reached the 88th place in the individual, was 90th in the sprint and 17th in the relay race. The Biathlon European Championships in 2008 from Nove Mesto na Moravě brought as a result a 47th place in the individual, rank 62 in the sprint and 13th place in the relay. At the beginning of the 2008/09 season , the Pole achieved a new best result in Östersund as 61st of the sprint and missed the pursuit race by just one place. His result in the individual from Hochfilzen was even better , where he crossed the finish line in 52nd place. In relay races, the best result so far is 15th place, achieved in Oberhof in 2008 .
