Betty Mold-Iddrisu

Betty Mold-Iddrisu (born March 22, 1953 in Accra ) has been Attorney General and Minister of Justice of the West African country of Ghana since February 2009 . She is a lawyer and obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Ghana between 1973 and 1976. She also received a Masters degree in law from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), University of London , in 1978 . Between 1990 and 2000 she taught part-time at the Law Faculty of the University of Ghana. She has published numerous papers and articles on intellectual property around the world . She temporarily held a senior position at the Commonwealth of Nations in London .

Betty Mold-Iddrisu is a member of the National Democratic Congress party and the first woman to take this ministerial office in Ghana.
