Dent on Toim

Beul an Toim is a short strait that separates the Scottish Hebridean islands of Benbecula in the south and Baleshare in the north. In contrast to the North Ford , which separates Baleshare in the east from the neighboring island of North Uist , the bump on Toim does not dry out even at low tide and is not spanned by a bridge or a dam. Benbecula Airport is only a few hundred meters south .
