An application flyer is a modern variant of an unsolicited application . Mostly it is a double-folded A4 sheet in landscape format . The flyer usually contains a short version of the cover letter , and the last activities of the applicant are mentioned in it. Here it differs from a curriculum vitae , since no year numbers and company names are given, only the positions and activities with details of the duration of the activity.

The application flyer is neither an alternative to a complete application folder , nor is it suitable as a direct mail . However, it can be used as an extended business card for a personal conversation, e.g. B. at a job exchange , be helpful.
