The Bezenšek track (English; Bulgarian Безеншеков рид Besenschekow RID ) is a 5.5 km long, 0.8 km wide and up to 900 m high ridge in Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises in the northeastern foothills of the Detroit Plateau in the south of the Trinity Peninsula and extends from Povien Peak in an easterly direction between the Marla and Diplock glaciers .
The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2011 after the Slovenian-Bulgarian linguist Anton Bezenšek (1854–1915), who developed the Gabelsberger shorthand for the Bulgarian language .
