Relationship status: complicated! (Original title: İlişki Durumu: Karışık ) is a Turkish romantic dramedy series based on the South Korean series Full House . The series premiered on July 4, 2015 on Show TV . A four-part sequel entitled İlişki Durumu: Evli was broadcast in 2016. The German-language first broadcast was originally supposed to take place on the Zee.One channel , but since this was discontinued at the end of May 2020, it is currently not known whether the series will be released in German-speaking countries at all.

Ayşegül Dinç, an aspiring but penniless writer, lives alone in the house that she inherited from her deceased parents and that was built by them. One day Ayşegül's best friends Ece and Efe let her believe that she has won a vacation trip to Greece. When she arrived there, she found that no room was reserved for her. In the meantime, Ayşegül's friends are selling their house so that they can pay their debts. Ayşegül meets the famous actor Can Tekin in Greece, whom she is able to convince to borrow money for her return trip. Back at home, Ayşegül is presented with a fait accompli and learns that Can has bought her home.
Ayşegül asks Can to be allowed to live in the house, and after a few arguments both come to an agreement that Ayşegül will henceforth work as a housekeeper for Can to pay off her debts. After a while, Can decides to marry Ayşegül to make jealous of the woman he has admired all his life. And both sign a secret contract by which they undertake to appear in public as a happy couple for six months and then get a divorce. In return, Ayşegül gets her house back after the divorce. But during this time things get complicated and the outcome is uncertain.
