Bian (Mao)
Empress Bian ( Chinese 卞 皇后 , birth name unknown) was an empress of the Wei Dynasty at the time of the Three Kingdoms . She was the wife of the third Wei emperor, Cao Mao .
Bian's father, Bian Long, was a grandson of Bian Bing, a brother-in-law of Cao Cao and brother of the empress mother Bian . Cao Mao married Bian in 255 when he was 14 years old. Their age at the time is not known. There is no record of her subsequent life as her husband was under the firm control of Sima Shi and Sima Zhao . Her fate after Cao Mao's failed coup against the Sima family and death is also unknown.
