origin

The variety 'Bianca' was bred in 1954 by the fruit growing research institute Jork from the varieties Rube and Allers Späte and launched in 1966.

The stone fruit is small to medium-sized and round. The skin is jet black when fully ripe. The medium-firm, red pulp is juicy, slightly tart and very tasty. The fruit is relatively burst-resistant, ripens in the 7th to 8th cherry week and is easy to store.
