Bianca Wittmann
Bianca Wittmann (born April 24, 1978 in Stuttgart ) is a German biopsychologist .
Life
From 1998 to 2003 she studied biology at the Eberhard-Karls-Universität Tübingen . After completing her doctorate (2003-2005) (reviewers: Emrah Düzel , Werner J. Schmidt and Julietta Frey ) at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg , she was a research assistant at the Wellcome Trust Center for Neuroimaging and at the Institute of from 2006 to 2008 Cognitive Neuroscience, University College London . From 2009 to 2010 she was a research fellow at the Helen Wills Neuroscience Institute, University of California, Berkeley . From 2010 to 2016 she was junior professor for biological psychology at the University of Giessen . Since 2016 she has been teaching as a professor for biological psychology in Giessen .
Her research interests are the processing of motivational events, episodic memory, decision-making behavior, the processing of new stimuli and the interaction of motivation and attention.
