Said Muhammad Rahim II
Khan Said Muhammad Rahim II († 1910 ) was the ruler of the Khiva Khanate . His reign was from 1863 to 1910. Under his rule, several important buildings were built in the historic old town of Chiwas Ichan Qalʼа , today a UNESCO World Heritage Site , such as the madrasah Muhammad Rahim Khan named after him . Said Muhammad Rahim II was a well-known poet under the name Feruz Shah . His poems have been published in the works The Gazelle des Feruza , The Poems of Feruza and the collection of poems of Feruza . During the reign of Said Muhammad Rahim II, the Tsar Russian Empire conquered the Khiva Khanate in 1873 and incorporated it into the empire as a protectorate .
