The Wuppertal Bible Museum on Bendahler Strasse in Wuppertal is a free-church Bible museum . Its premises were expanded in 2008 and, in addition to the former main building at the corner of Bendahler Strasse and Wolkenburg, now also include the immediately adjacent buildings at Bendahler Strasse 58-60.

Sponsorship

The sponsor is the Association Museum für Bibelgeschichte e. V. under the direction of Stefan Drüeke. He founded the institution, which sees itself as a "Bible and Creation Museum", in 2001 with friends. Drüeke is also known as an employee of the Elberfeld translation Edition CSV Hückeswagen distributed by CSV Hückeswagen , a revised Elberfeld Bible , and is close to the biblical - fundamentalist Brethren movement , whose views also determine the content of the museum. The museum sponsor has nothing to do with the Wuppertal Bible Center , which is run by the Evangelical Biblical Works in the Rhineland and whose house at Rudolfstrasse 135 has its own permanent exhibition on the history of the Bible.

exhibition

The Wuppertal Bible Museum shows exhibits on the history of the Bible:

There are also several exhibition rooms that deal with geological history , creation and the flood from a creationist perspective . "Extensive fossil collections with terrariums and aquariums help to experience God's creative activity in awe."

The Wort und Wissen study group had temporarily rented and designed a room on the subject of Biblical Archeology .
