The Biblioteca di Studi Teatrali di Casa Goldoni is a library in Venice that opened in 1953 and is located in the Sestiere of San Polo .

In accordance with the task of the house, which was called Teatro di San Luca until 1875 , the Casa Goldoni collects theater collections, and the house also owns some autographs by Carlo Goldoni , after whom the house is named. A particularly important collection is the Archivio Vendramin , which is of central importance for the historical work on Goldoni, as well as the rich collections of Edgardo Maddalena (1867–1929) and Cesare Musatti .

In addition, the library of Giuseppe Ortolani, the institute's first curator, could be acquired. It contains rare texts from the 18th century.

Today the library has around 30,000 volumes, making it one of the most important theatrical and historical institutions. Since 2001 the catalog has been converted to a digital basis.
