Biełarus ( Belarusian Белару́с , bʲeɫaˈrus , literally "the Belarusian") is a Belarusian newspaper that was founded in 1950 in the USA by representatives of the Belarusian post-war emigration . The newspaper appears every two months, published by the Belarusian-American Association in New York .
Biełarus is the largest and oldest Belarusian newspaper outside the Republic of Belarus . The materials contain information about the life and activism of the Belarusian diaspora, Belarusian news, as well as many historical and analytical materials. All of the magazine's materials are published in Belarusian . Most Belarusian organizations in the world receive the newspaper by subscription.
In terms of political orientation, the newspaper maintains the position of the pro-Belarusian People's Republic , democratic and national revival and is against the policies of the current Belarusian President Alyaksandr Lukashenka .
The newspaper was previously published monthly. It has been published every two months since 2015.
