Big Cat Records Ltd. was a music label based in London. Founded in 1988 by Steven Abbot , the former UK Decay frontman , it signed musicians from punk to indie rock to jazz and classical music. Big Cat Records was taken over by V2 Records in 1996 , but retained its independence as a label. Big Cat Records distributed the groups Carter The Unstoppable Sex Machine , Tod A. with Cop Shoot Cop , Blumfeld and Grandaddy , among others . The label was dissolved on August 28, 2012.
