The publication of the written teaching of Bishnu Charan Ghosh (YOGA-CURE) caused by the yogi Mukul Dutta shows that the postures and the sequence of these postures were not developed by Bikram, but the creation and thus a copy of the teaching of his master Bishnu Charan Ghosh are. Bikram Choudhury was born in Calcutta in 1946 .

Bikram Yoga is a series of 26 yoga exercises that are practiced in a hot room (at around 35–40 degrees Celsius). In general, Bikram Yoga is known as hot yoga and is now a very popular type of yoga with over 600 schools worldwide. Bikram Choudhury tried to protect the yoga method presented as his. However, an American court denied his claims on May 8, 2015.
