Wayside shrine (Wiedergeltingen)
In the late 19th century, the listed wayside shrine was built in Wiedergeltingen , a municipality in the Unterallgäu district , Bavaria . The building has an arched niche and a gable roof . It is located below the 'Lehbüchel', a hill with a war memorial for the fallen soldiers of the Franco-Prussian War of 1870/71 . Inside there is a larger-than-life wooden figure of a dungeon savior with a shoulder wound from the mid-18th century.
