The war memorial in the community of Wiedergeltingen in the district of Unterallgäu ( Bavaria ) was erected in memory of those who fell in the Franco-Prussian War in 1870/71 and is a listed building. It rises on an artificially raised hill on the Lehbüchl on the southwestern outskirts. Consisting of sandstone made war memorial consists of two stages, followed by blunt pyramid with a ball connects on the top. On the north side there is a weathered inscription surrounded by a laurel wreath. Until 1804 there was a tower-like light column donated by Duke Welf at this point .
