Biliana Voutchkova

Biliana Voutchkova (* 1972 in Plovdiv , Bulgaria) is a Bulgarian violinist who specializes in contemporary classical music, improvisation and experimental interdisciplinary projects, in particular music and dance. She lives in Berlin.

Live and act

Born into a musical family, she studied first in Bulgaria and then in the USA classical violin. In New York she came into contact with improvised music. In Berlin she developed the musical balance of her complex influences. She is a member of numerous ensembles and is perceived and valued as a soloist. Her musical work reflects an unusually wide spectrum of influences and influences.
