Bill Allard

William Albert "Bill" Allard (* 1937 in Minneapolis , Minnesota ) is an American photographer and author. He is best known for his contributions to National Geographic magazine, for which he has worked as an intern, permanent employee and freelancer for over 50 years. Its main theme is the American Midwest with its cowboys , prairies and typical lifestyles. Others deal with the cultures of the Amish and Hutterites and the baseball the lower leagues. Bill Allard is the author of seven illustrated books.
