Billy Barrix
Billy "Curly" Barrix (born June 5, 1937 in Tennessee - † February 22, 2013 ) was an American rockabilly and country musician .
Barrix started his career in 1957 with Chess Records in Chicago . There his title Cool Off Baby appeared , a title that was heavily based on Elvis Presley's baby, Let's Play House . Barrix only wrote a new text together with a friend. During the 1960s Barrix played on various labels under the name "Curly Barrix" a few country records. In 1971 he was a DJ in Chicago before moving to Nashville to return to work as a country musician.
