Billy Ketkeophomphone was born in the Paris suburb of Champigny-sur-Marne . His parents are from Laos.
Career
society
Billy Ketkeophomphone started playing soccer in the youth department of RC Paris . Then he came to the national youth performance center of the French football association, the INF Clairefontaine . In 2007 Ketkeophomphone went to Racing Strasbourg , where he only played in the second team. In the 2009/10 season, Ketkeophomphone was also used for the first time in the first team. He made his professional debut on December 1, 2009 when he came on for David Ledy in the 45th minute in the 2-1 win in Ligue 2, against SC Bastia .
At the end of the season, Strasbourg rose to the third French division, the Championnat de France National . In the third division season Ketkeophomphone came to 29 inserts and five hits. For the 2011/12 season, Ketkeophomphone moved abroad and signed up for the Swiss first division club FC Sion . He made his debut in the Axpo Super League on August 28, 2011 (8th matchday), when he was in the starting eleven in the 4-0 defeat by Servette Geneva and was replaced by Guilherme Afonso at the beginning of the second half . It was also the first division game of his career. On January 29, 2012 it was announced that Billy was leaving FC Sion again, he was moving to the French second division club FC Tours . Further positions at SCO Angers and AJ Auxerre followed and since November 2019 he has been under contract with third division SO Cholet .
