Bingen Fernández

Bingen Fernández Bustinza (born December 15, 1972 in Bermeo ) is a former Spanish road cyclist and today's team manager in cycling.

Bingen Fernández began his career in 1996 with the Basque cycling team Euskadi (from 1998 Euskaltel-Euskadi ), after having ridden there as a stagiaire in 1996 . After six years, he moved to the French Équipe Cofidis in 2002 . Here he took part for the first time in the Tour de France , which he finished in 79th. Fernández ended his professional career as a racing cyclist at the end of the 2009 season and in 2010 became team manager of the UCI ProTeam Garmin-Transitions .
