Bioscience, Biotechnology, and Biochemistry , abbreviated to Biosci. Biotechnol. Biochem. , is a scientific journal published by Taylor & Francis Publishing on behalf of the Japanese Society for Life Science, Biotechnology, and Agrochemistry. The journal was founded in 1924 under the name Bulletin of the Agricultural Chemical Society of Japan . The publication was interrupted from 1943 to 1954 and began again in 1955. In 1961 the name was changed to Agricultural and Biological Chemistry , this name was retained for 30 years before the change to the current name Bioscience, Biotechnology, and Biochemistry in 1992 . The magazine is published twelve times a year. Works are published that deal with biological and chemical analyzes in plants, animals and microorganisms.
