Birger Schlaug

Birger Schlaug (born January 29, 1949 in Stockholm ) is a Swedish politician of the Miljöpartiet de Gröna party and author.

Life

Schlaug studied meteorology and worked as a meteorologist after completing his training. In addition to his professional work, Schlaug began to get involved in politics and became a member of the Greens. From 1985 to 1988 and from 1992 to 2000 Schlaug was their party spokesman. From 1988 to 1991 and from 1994 to 2001 Schlaug was a member of the Riksdag . In addition to his political career, Schlaug wrote several books on political topics.
