Birgit Meyn-Horeis

Birgit Meyn-Horeis (born January 25, 1962 in Oberndorf ) is a German politician ( SPD ).

Birgit Meyn-Horeis attended the Cadenberge secondary school after primary school in Oberndorf . Then she was at the higher commercial school in Cuxhaven . After graduating, she completed an apprenticeship as an administrative clerk at the Hadeln municipality in Otterndorf . She then worked as an administrative clerk at the Hadeln municipality. In 1986 she became a member of the SPD. She ended her work as an administrative clerk in 1993 when she started her parental leave. In 1994 she became a member of the ver.di union. In the 1994 state elections she was elected to the 13th electoral term of the Lower Saxony state parliament, to which she belonged until the end of the 14th electoral term in 2003.
