Jean-Louis Victor Grisart

Jean-Louis Victor Grisart (born June 28, 1797 in Paris, † May 14, 1877 ibid) was a French architect who was awarded the Order of a Chevalier of the Légion d'honneur for his work in 1857 .

Jean-Louis Victor Grisart was a student of Auguste Guenepin and Jean-Nicolas Huyot . In 1823 he received the second prize of the Grand prix d'architecture for the plan of a building for the customs administration . In 1838, together with Joseph-Antoine Froelicher, he built a shop and artisan arcade and the Bonne Nouvelle department store in Paris. In 1860 the barracks designed by Grisart at 10-12, rue de la Banque ( 2nd arrondissement ) were completed. Part of the Passage des Panorama was designed by him, as was the entrance to the Musée National de la Voiture et du Tourisme in Compiègne (built in 1859).

From the 1830s he lived at 2, rue Crébillon ( 6th arrondissement ) in Paris and in the 1870s at 20, rue de (6th arrondissement).
