Birgitta Sewik is a Swedish curler .

Sewik made her international debut at the 1980 World Cup in Perth , where she won the silver medal.

Sewik played as second of the Swedish team in the XV. 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics in curling. Skip Elisabeth Högström's team won the Olympic silver medal after a 5-7 defeat in the final against Canada under Skip Linda Moore . Since curling was still a demonstration sport at that time, the medal has no official status.
