Birkir Ívar Guðmundsson
Birkir Ívar Guðmundsson (born September 14, 1976 in Vestmannaeyjar ) is a handball goalkeeper from Iceland .
The 1.92 meter tall and 93 kilogram goalkeeper is under contract with Haukar Hafnarfjörður . He had previously played at TuS N-Lübbecke .
For the Icelandic national team , he played 140 international matches , scoring one goal; he was in the extended squad for the 2011 World Cup .
He is married and has two daughters.
