Birol Denizeri

Birol Denizeri (* 1964 in Edirne , Turkey ) is the author of an exemplary text of early literature from the second generation of the Turkish minority in Germany .

Life

In 1977 he was born in Edirne, Turkey, and moved to Fürth to live with his parents.

The lost face

His text The Lost Face uses the example of the 15-year-old girl Saniye / Sanje to deal with the difficult search for identity of Turkish immigrant children in Germany of the first and second generation between German and Turkish culture and was at times frequent not only in Germany but also in other countries such as Switzerland used in school lessons. In 2003, among the five topics of the final examination of the A-course German in Saxony-Anhalt set by the Ministry of Culture of the State of Saxony-Anhalt, in addition to tasks on Goethe and Fontane, even two on Denizeri's The Lost Face .
