Birutė Janavičiūtė

Birutė Janavičiūtė (born December 11, 1956 in the Rajonggemeinde Kaišiadorys ) is a Lithuanian lawyer, judge in the Supreme Court, formerly in the Supreme Administrative Court of Lithuania .

Life

After graduating from high school, Janavičiūtė graduated from Vilniaus universitetas in 1985 with a degree in law . From 1976 to 1983 she worked in the 22nd pharmacy in Vilnius as an assistant and pharmacist, from 1983 session secretary in Aukščiausiasis Teismas of Soviet Lithuania . From 1988 to 1990 she worked as a legal advisor in the banks (industrial and construction bank of the Soviet Union and Lietuvos respublikinis bankas ), from 1991 to 1994 at the Sodra social security office . From 1995 to 1999 she was a judge in the 1st district court in Vilnius , from 2001 to 2008 in the Lietuvos vyriausiasis administracinis teismas . Since 2008 she has been a judge at Lietuvos Aukščiausiasis Teismas .
