Holger Bisgaard

Holger Ove Bisgaard (born March 28, 1880 in Glamsbjerg , Denmark , † March 28, 1943 in Skodsborg , Denmark ) was a Danish doctor .

The so-called Bisgaard sign (backdrop pressure pain ) was named after Bisgaard , a clinical sign that can be positive in deep leg ventricular thrombosis . He also became known for his method of treating venous lower leg ulcers (Bisgaard method, Bisgaard regime) .
