The house was built at the end of the 19th century. It was entered in the monuments list of the city of Mönchengladbach under no. B 042 on September 24, 1985 .

The house no. 81 lies approximately in the center of the former Avenue between the intersections with Steinmetzstraße and Kaiserstrasse. The building, which was built shortly after the turn of the century, is a three-story residential building with a mansard roof . On the right is a risalit that extends over all floors and ends in the roof .

In the historical development of the row, which was heavily decimated by the last war or alienated by renovations in the 1950s, house no.81 is a typical example of a residential building from the end of the 19th century, the beginning of the 20th century and shows fragmentarily like the street looked like.
