Bit Ḫamban or bit habban ( Akkadian bit Ḫamban , Babylonian bit habban ) was a little kassitisches kingdom in ancient times , which in the border area of the present states of Iran and Iraq existed. The name is derived from the Kassite tribe of the same name, the Chambaner / Chabbaner .
