The Bitare language (ISO 639-3: brt; also called njwande and yukutare ) is a tivoid language that is spoken by a total of 52,330 people.

Most of the speakers live in Nigeria - a total of 46,300 in the state of taraba in the LGA Sardauna . u državi Taraba , Lokalna samouprava Sardauna. In addition, 6,030 speakers (as of 2000) live in the Cameroon province of Adamaua .

The language is related to the abon [abo]. The speakers speak more and more English and French as their mother tongue.
