Björn Dreyer (born July 27, 1977 in Hamburg ) is a former German soccer player and today's coach .

Career

Björn Dreyer started at Hummelsbütteler SV and then played one season (1997/98) in the Oberliga Hamburg / Schleswig-Holstein with Concordia Hamburg before moving to 1. SC Norderstedt in the Regionalliga Nord . There he was able to prevail within the team and completed 30 of the 34 games. In 1999 the defensive midfielder moved to SC Freiburg in the Bundesliga for 50,000 marks . There he made his debut on August 28, 1999 in the game against TSV 1860 Munich (3-0). As a contract amateur he was also used for the amateur team of the SCF in the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg. By 2001 he had 9 Bundesliga games and scored one goal (August 12, 2000 against VfB Stuttgart ). At the beginning of the 2001/02 season he went on loan to the Stuttgarter Kickers in the Regionalliga Süd . There he completed 11 league games (one goal), but has been listed as a sports invalid since this season. His last appearance for the Kickers was on November 16, 2001.

He started his first coaching position in the 2010/11 season at the regional league club Fatihspor Kaltenkirchen. He then worked in the youth sector at the Kaltenkirchener Turnerschaft and in November 2011 became the coach of the Association League team. He held this office until 2012.
