Björn Werdenheim
Björn Werdenheim (born April 4, 1980 in Växjö ) is a Swedish automobile racing driver .
Career
Werdenheim started his motorsport career in kart racing in 1990 . In 1996 he switched to the Swedish Formula Ford Championship . In the first season, in which he only took part in half of the races, he reached sixth place in the overall standings. In 1997 he was able to win the championship title.
Formula 3 and Formula 3000
In 1998, Werdenheim switched to Formula Palmer Audi and also competed in the Nordic Formula 3 championship , where he came in second. After another year in the Formula Palmer Audi, he first switched to German Formula 3 in 2000 and to Formula 3000 in 2002 . With Arden he won the championship there in 2003.
Formula 1 and Formula Nippon
In 2004, Werdenheim was active as a reserve and test driver for Jaguar Racing in Formula 1 before moving to the USA and racing there in the 2005 Champ Car World Series for HVM. In 2006 he started in the Japanese Formula Nippon racing series for the NTT DoCoMo racing team in the Dandelion team.
