Black Crypt is a role-playing game by Raven Software that came out in 1992 for the Commodore Amiga . It had excellent graphics for the time and roughly corresponded to the 3D classic Dungeon Master . Particularly noteworthy is the extremely high level of difficulty from the start, the intelligent monsters, tricky puzzles and the gloomy atmosphere of the game.

The game is about climbing into the black tomb of a magician with four heroes and thwarting the rebirth of this villain there - or defeating him again as other heroes fought for.
