Blackeberg is a district in the Stockholm district of Bromma . It was built in the 1950s.

The city of Stockholm bought Blackeberg in the late 1940s. Three-story apartment blocks, a center with a cinema, and a library were built in the 1950s. The underground station of the same name is located in Blackeberg . It was designed by architect Peter Celsing and opened in 1952.

Trivia

The novel So dark the night takes place in Blackeberg. The film of the same name was shot largely in Blackeberg.
