Blaise Mamoum (born December 25, 1979 in Bamenda ) is a Cameroonian former football player .

Career

Mamoun's career began in France. There he was part of the AS Saint-Etienne professional squad until December 2000 . During the winter break he was signed by the German Bundesliga club Werder Bremen . There he played mainly in the Regionalliga Nord, with the reserve team of the Green-Whites . In order to be able to give him match practice in professional football, the SVW officials decided to lend the striker to SV Waldhof Mannheim in the 2nd Bundesliga for the second half of the 2002/03 season . With the Mannheim team, Mamoun made his professional debut in Germany on January 24, 2003. Against Eintracht Braunschweig coach Walter Pradt changed him in the 78th minute for Erol Bekir . The game ended in a 1-1 draw. In his second league game, Mamoum was already in the starting line-up and thanked him with a header that made it 1-0. However, the game against 1. FSV Mainz 05 was lost 5-1. This was also the attacker's only hit in the Waldhof Mannheim jersey. In summer he did not return to Bremen. Hamburger SV secured the services of the Cameroonian and lured him to the Elbe. In two years he did not make the breakthrough, was only active for the reserve team of HSV.

In summer 2005 he returned to France and joined his old employer AS Saint-Etienne. For the 2006/07 season Mamoum moved to the French fifth division ASF Andrézieux . He joined FCO Firminy in the summer of 2008 before joining L'Etrat La Tour Sportif two years later.
